When a person of a foreign nationality wants to get married with a Mexican citizen, the person of a foreign nationality must apostille his documents: birth certificate, certificate of single status, divorce certificate, according to each case, and must give the official translations of such documents to the National Institute of Migration or abroad.
The translations must be done by a Certified Translator of the Mexican Government. If the translations are done by a Translator of other country, the Mexican Government will not accept such translations.
A person with a foreign nationality must accredit his/her legal stay in Mexico, so that he/she can get married with the Mexican citizen.
